Sehr interessante Biedermeier-Lithographie, die nicht nur eine drastisch zoophile Szene mit Hengst und 3 jungen Damen zu bieten hat, sondern auch einen spannenden kulturhistorischen Hintergrund. Denn der Untertitel "Trait pénétrant d'humanité d'un Cheval entier dressé par Mme Lejars pour l'usage des femmes délicates" spielt auf die berühmte Zirkusakrobatin Antoinette Lejars an. Sie war Kunstreiterin und die Attraktion des Cirque d'Hiver in Paris, zudem von großer Schönheit, deshalb wurde sie auch "la Taglioni du Cirque" genannt (Marie Taglioni gilt als erste Meisterin des Spitzentanzes, war der erste ?Star" des romantischen Balletts und bereits zu Lebzeiten ein Mythos).
