Bemerkung:

Erste Ausgabe. Nissen 4408. Graesse VII, 450. Mit gestochenem Titelblatt und 56 altkolorierten Kupfertafeln. Einband etwas beschabt, am oberen Kapital und im hinteren Außengelenk mit schmalen Fehlstellen im Lederbezug. Seiten stellenweise leicht stockfleckig, einige Seiten und die letzten drei Tafeln mit blassem Wasserrand (zwar zum Teil mit Bildberührung, jedoch ohne Einschränkung der Bildqualität). Tafeln mit leichtem Farbdurchschlag verso. Tafel 3 mit kleiner Fehlstelle im weißen Rand, Tafel 47 mit auf der Bildseite unscheinbarem Randeinriss (umseitig mit transparentem Klebeband repariert, leichte Bildberührung, jedoch ohne Bildverlust). Gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar mit Kupferstichen in kräftigen Abdrucken und schöner Handkoloration. Half leather binding of the time with five raised bands and red edges. First edition. Nissen 4408. Graesse VII, 450. With engraved title page and 56 finely hand-colored copper engravings. Binding somewhat rubbed, with small losses to the leather at the head of the spine and along the rear outer joint. Occasional light foxing, some pages and the final three plates with a faint waterstain (partly touching the image but without affecting its quality). Plates with slight color offset on versos. Plate 3 with a small loss in the white margin, plate 47 with an inconspicuous marginal tear on the image side (neatly repaired on the verso with transparent tape, slightly touching the image but without any loss). A near fine copy with strong impressions and fine contemporary hand-coloring.
