Seltener Katalog mit Original-Sergrafien des deutschen Malers Josef Albers (1888 Bottrop - 1976 New Haven, Conneticut), der als Lehrer am Bauhaus und Kunstheoretiker nachhaltig wirkte. Der vorliegende Band enthält 7 farbige Orig.-Serigrafien ( 6 x "Homage to the Square" + 1 "Entwurf eines Stadtwappens der Stadt Bottrup, 1924" (jeweils 20 x 20 cm). -- Erschienen anläßlich des 85. Geburtstags des Künstlers. -- Graphic-Design: Dmitrij Werschbizkij. Siebdrucke: Trautwein KG, Recklinghausen. Gesamtherstellung: Aurel Bongers, Recklinghausen. -- Graphiken, bis auf erste und letzte Tafel, mit winzigem Fleckchen am overen linken Rand (Schnittfleck bedingt), sonst schön und sauber erhalten. // First edition, text in German. -- Original boards (a bit rubbed, plastic coating a bit loosened, top cutting with small spot). -- Overall fine and clean. -- Rare catalogue with 7 original silkscreen prints (6 x "Homages to the Square" and 1 design for a coat of arms for the city of Bottrop, 1924). -- Josef Albers (1888-1976) was a German-born artist and educator who taught at the Bauhaus. His work had a major impact on modern art education programs of the twentieth century. -- Slkscreens (with exception of first and last print) show a miniscule spot at the very top edge. Else fine and clean.

Einband leicht berieben, Laminierung stellenweise leicht gelöst, Kopfschnitt mit kleinem Fleck. Sonst wohlerhaltenes Exemplar.
