Bemerkung:

The extensive and early guide to Vienna, with the two panorama-views of Vienna, from the Belvedere, and the two many-folded City-maps. Contains also views from the castle, St. Stephans Church, Palais Schwarzenberg etc. The popular "Vienna tourist guide[s], which, tellingly enough, was actually written by a foreigner" (Gugitz, in: Jb. d. Grillparzerges. 16, 212). The versatile and, in Wurzbach's words, "specifically Viennese" writer Pezzl (1756-1823), a native of Lower Bavaria, was secretary and librarian to the State Chancellor, Prince von. Kaunitz, before he became an intellectual figure in Viennese society by marrying a wealthy woman. - Gugitz III, 12056. Nebehay/Wagner 503. Engelmann 1036.
