circa 24 x 15 cm., 1 leaf. rear blank This is most likely the engraving for Graham?s Magazine, February 1845, based on a watercolor by A. C. Smith that was presumably done in Philadelphia but which was considered to be quite unfaithful and not much like Poe at all. It is in a long hexagone with the text "Our contributors" and below "Edgar A. Poe" in a facsimile of his signature. It has later been reprinted several times but as far as we can see without the text as given here.
