Contemporary red morroco with amply gilt spine, covers and inner edges Brunet III, 30: "Edition preferable aux precedentes"; Gay-L. III, 128: "C est la plus belle edition et la plus curieuse". - Nice edition on large paper with the additional 77 pages "Notes et eclairissements" that apparently often are not bound with the main text. One plate shows Summerhill and than there are 78 portraits (not 77 as stated in the index). - Only minor traces of use, little spotting in places but mostly clean, corners a little bumped but very decorative. - From the library of the Bohemian aristocrat count Schlik in Kopidlno.
