Original-Ausgabe. Diese für sich schon sehr seltene Orig.-Ausgabe liegt hier mit der separat erschienen Folge von 11 Gravuren zudem in der kolorierten Fassung vor. Diese sowohl flagellantischen als auch explizit erotischen Gravüren wurden (unkoloriert) 1890 in einem Brancart Katalog angeboten. Sowohl die bei Perceau als auch bei Pia beschriebenen Exemplare hatten keine Illustrationen. Bei Pia 160 ist jedoch der Brancart Katalog von 1890 mit der Suite der 11 Gravüren als Annex aufgeführt. Lediglich das Dutel-Exemplar enthält die Illustrationen. Die Titelblätter in rot/schwarz gedruckt. Verso der Vortitel findet sich jeweils eine Liste der Werke von M. E. D. Einband etwas berieben und an den Kapitalen etwas bestossen. Fliegender Vorsatz mit Sammler-Stempel (J.-P. Dutel). Cette édition originale, déjà très rare en soi, est présentée ici avec la série de 11 gravures parues séparément, en plus dans la version colorisée. Ces gravures, à la fois flagellantes et explicitement érotiques, ont été proposées (non colorées) dans un catalogue Brancart en 1890. Tant les exemplaires décrits chez Perceau que chez Pia ne comportaient pas d'illustrations. Chez Pia 160, le catalogue Brancart de 1890 est toutefois présenté avec la suite des 11 gravures en annexe. Seul l'exemplaire Dutel contient les illustrations. Les pages de titre sont imprimées en rouge/noir. Au verso de chaque faux-titre se trouve une liste des œuvres de M. E. D. Reliure un peu frottée et un peu abîmée aux coiffes. Tampon de collectionneur (J.-P. Dutel) sur la page de garde volante. This very rare original edition is accompanied here by the separately published series of 11 engravings in the coloured version. These flagellant as well as explicitly erotic engravings were offered (uncoloured) in a Brancart catalogue in 1890. Both the copies described by Perceau and Pia had no illustrations. In Pia 160, however, the Brancart catalogue of 1890 with the suite of 11 engravings is listed as an annex. Only the Dutel copy contains the illustrations. The title pages printed in red/black. A list of the works by M. E. D. can be found on the verso of each title page. Binding somewhat rubbed and slightly bumped at the extremities. Flyleaf with collector's stamp (J.-P. Dutel).
