Die fotografischen Abzüge zeigen eine Folge von 10 höchst ungewöhnlichen Gemälden, sehr wahrscheinlich deutschen Ursprungs, 5 davon monogrammiert und datiert FW 1927. Ihr Charakter ist blasphemisch, fetischistisch, die perverse Entartung verschiedenster Klischees, die vollkommene Überzeichnung von Vorstellungen der partywilden 20er Jahre, des gesellschaftlich-moralischen Zerfalls der Weimarer Republik, als sei hier ein rasender Zwilling George Grosz' am Werke gewesen. Über die Originale oder den möglichen Künstler ist nichts bekannt. Album an den Kanten berieben. The photographic prints show a series of 10 highly unusual paintings, very probably of German origin, 5 of them monogrammed and dated FW 1927. Their character is blasphemic, fetishistic, the perverse degeneration of various clichés, the complete exaggeration of ideas of the party-wild Roaring Twenties, the social and moral decay of the Weimar Republic, as if a raging twin of George Grosz had been at work here. Nothing is known about the originals or the possible artist. Album rubbed at the edges. Exceptional, probably unique set.
