Beschreibung:

35,5 : 27,5 cm. 10 numbered leaves, 10 photograpic plates. Original board-portfolio, title on front board.

Bemerkung:

Rare suit of 10 photographies by the Austrian photographer Nikolaus Walter with texts by Jeo Berger (1939-1991) the famous Viennese scene poet. The portfolio is one of the most impressive image-text ouevres of the 1970ties of the sensivity of the Austrian soul. The words of Bergerare partly bizarre, partly ironic, descriping the tipical sensivity of the Austrian soul. 'Denn der Österreicher denkt sich sein Teil und lässt die anderen reden, oder lässt die anderen reden und denkt sich nichts'. (Because the Austrian is thinking his part and let the others talk, or let the others talk and dont think nothing). Nikolaus Walter, lives and works in Feldkirch (Austria), has edited this portfolio with black and white photographies as 'Austria-Portfolio'. In the front inner-board numbered and signed by Walter and Berger. - Edges of the portfolio a bit rubbed, inside fine.
