Bemerkung:

Very rare and only edition. As editor is Schlettwein (1731-1802) known in the bibliographies. - Goed. IV, 3, 181, 6. - I: Most likely second print with other print-place of the 'Anti-Werther' by Friedrich Nicolai. He wanted with his satire not attack Goethe directly, he wanted more to show the concequeneces of the 'Werther-Mode' suicides and enthusiasm. Many young man after reading Gorthes 'Werther' suiceded themselves because of the influence of this tragedy. - Also Gothe was very engry about this as he said 'Berliner Hundezeug' (dog shit from Berlin). - II: Editor was most likelyl Riebe. - All three titles with smal collectors stamp.
