Numbered 1-158 (with 56 a and b) and 1-205. Volumes 1 and 2 from 1842-1843 in half-calf. Volumes 3 and 4 from 1854-1857 in the original boards and with the separate title: Thorvaldsens Arbeiter og Livsforhold i Tidsrummet 1828-1844. Texts following the work of Thiele. - This copy with owner s inscription Diderik Christian Seidelin, first volume bought in 1843. Many paper slips with the titles of the works loosely inserted. - Partly due to the paper some more browning to just a few plates, little foxing, mostly quite clean, all spines skilfully rebacked. Nice, complete set.
