Mit 33 Kupferstichen nach Francois Boucher, ausgeführt von Lau. Cars, auf echtem Büttenpapier, Blattgrößen: ca. 28,8 x 21 cm, Abbildungsgrößen: ca. 19,5 x 14,5 cm, jeweils am oberen Blattrand hinter Passepartouts montiert. Einband deutlich berieben, Leder mit mehreren kleinen Einrissen, Ausrissen, am Rücken aufgehellt. Vorsätze und Passepartouts an den Rändern teils etwas gebräunt und teils wenig braunfleckig. Ein oberer und ein unterer Büttenpapierrand etwas fleckig, ein anderer unterer Schöpfrand mit winzigem Einriss. Gutes, innen gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar. Original half leather binding with gilt embossed title on spine and marbled cover paper. Cover significantly rubbed, with several small tears and missing parts, brightened at the spine. Endpapers and passepartouts lightly darkened at the margins, partly lightly spotted. One upper and one lower margin of the illustrations lightly spotted, one lower margin with one tiny tear. Good copy, nearly fine on the inside.
