Beautiful sample book of Japanese sweets. A hugh varaity of different designs for sweets. - In front end paper, there shows Chokudai: theme of the Imperial Poetry Contest. The theme is 'Morning Sea'. Some of Japanese song which match the theme. 1932 was the Year of the Dog, so there are some sweets which use the Dog mark. - One corner a bit pumbed, back wrapper missing.
