Erste deutsche Ausgabe von zwei der größten Klassiker der Zahnmedizin des 18. Jahrhunderts. Das Werk vereint die beiden zwischen 1771 und 1778 erschienen klassischen Werke von John Hunter "A natural history of the human teeth. With: A practical treatise on the diseases of the teeth" und " A practical treatise on the diseases of the teeth intended as a supplement to the natural history of those parts". - Vgl. It was the first scientific study of the teeth and is basic to all modern dentistry". - "This classical work revolutionized the practice of dentistry and provided a basis for later dental research. Hunter introduced the classes cuspids, bicuspids, molars and incisors; he also devised appliances for the correction of malocclusion.
