When we decided to put on an exhibition of "masks" we found a large number of works ranging from the distant past right to the present. I believe that sculptors have always put energy into the creation of the head, and thus these splendid artists have captured for us their sensitivity to their work, their own innermost feelings and emotions. It is rare to encounter such expression in this kind of work.
