Gutes Ex. - Englisch. - Mit montierter Visitenkarte der Produktionsfirma. - Drei Schwestern (1997), israelischer Dokumentarfilm von Tsipi Reibenbach (wiki) // Immigrants - A Tsipi Reibenbach film Third part of the trilogy of "Choice and Destiny". The first, "Choice and destiny" and the second "Three Sisters", are non-fiction authentic films. "Immigrants", the third is fiction authentic. The film goes back to the 50's, in an Arabic neighborhood, which was liberated in the 1948 independence war of the new state of Israel. Jewish people arrived from Europe, North Africa and Middle East Arabic countries. Coming at last to their own Jewish state, they had great hopes and expectations. The children who studied together in the same school where they talked the same language - Hebrew, were spared the daily difficulties of their parents. They could enjoy with their creative imagination a normal childhood (as much as possible...). The film has a unique personal approach. It will be filmed from the point of view of the children. From their playground - the street to the indoors of the adults. The film is based on the memories of the director as a child. She immigrated with her parents, Holocaust survivors (see "Choice and Destiny", "Three Sisters"), from Poland. ...
