Erste Ausgabe. - Nebehay-W. 564. - Das berühmte und gesuchte Dalmatien-Panorama von Giuseppe Rieger. Das Leporello im Format 11,5 cm x 1010 cm besteht aus dem eigentlichen Panorama der dalmatinischen Küste von Premantura (ital. Promontore) bei Pola (ital. Pula) bis Perzanjo (ital. Perzagno) bei Kotor (ital. Cattaro) sowie den 3 Fortsetzungen (1) Monte S. Elia und Perastro (ca. 35,5 cm), (2) Castelnuovo (ca. 54 cm) und (3) Budva (ca. 28 cm). - In 1836 the Austria Lloyd line started a service from Trieste to the mouth of the Cattaro. To publicise the route the company commissioned Giuseppe Rieger to sketch the coastline in the form of a continuous prospect, which they then had privately published. The prospect was never available to the general public, only to the company`s customers, so it is very scarce. - Etw. fleckig und gebräunt, teils etw. wasserrandig. Kl. Läsuren im Falz. Letztes Segment mit Knickfalte in der oberen rechten Ecke und kl. Läsur durch Entfernung eines alten Besitzvermerkes (Stempels).
