Collected edition of the works of the poet Agnolo Firenzuola (1493-1543) from Florence. Contains in volume I: Discorsi degli animali, Ragionamenti amorosi, Epistola in lode delle donne, Novelle otto, Discacciamento delle lettere, Dialogo della bellezza delle donne. - In vol. II: the translation of The Golden Ass by Apuleius (Asino d oro). - In volume III: the poems and plays. - Three years later in 1766 a fourth volume with only 60 pages has been published. It is often lacking and not present here.

- Minor browning, mostly quite clean, a little rubbed, gilding faded, still pretty armorial bindings.
