circa 19 x 12,5 cm., double-leaf folded, 4 pages. only first page with 6 lines of text Talma writes to a dear friend (Nadermar?) that he regrets they could not meet and he hopes that another time he comes to that area they will see each other. Francois Joseph Talma (1763-1826) was the most famous French actor of his time and inspired authors as well as younger colleagues for generations to come. - This autograph is from an important collection in Tegernsee. In the old portfolio with notes by the collector who bought this letter january 29th 1926 in Paris from Noel Charavay for the equivalent of 4,50 Marks.
