The colourful plate shows a Japanese Fan, on the Fan there are painted two woman dressed in kimono taking out procelan from a box. The Fan is surrounded by Ginko leaves. Each plate of this work is of outstanding artistic design and beauty in Art Nouveau. Anton Seder (1850 - 1916) was a professor and painter, and his work had a great influence on the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. The plates are made in different techniques like lithograph, etching, woodcut, photolithography, collotype, chromolithography etc. some plates printed with gold. The quality of most of the plates is unreached. Many of the plates were made by Anton Seder himself, but alos other artist were involved, like H. Charlemont, H. Darnant, J. Berger, A. Moor, F.
