Contemporary marbled paper wrapper Rare Croatian imprint from Rome with formulae, confessions, prayers, questions and answers in the hour of death. On page 16 there is a note: "Prinese u slovinski jezik Ivan Jozip misnik Paulovich Lucich Makaranin" - this is the antiquarian and scholar specialised in ancient inscriptions Ivan Josip Pavlovic-Lucic (1755.?1818) who was born in Makarska, studied in Padova and worked for some time in Rome before returning to his hometown. He published several works about the archaeological remains and especially epigraphy in Dalmatia. - The present work we can trace in only one public library: The Newberry.
